HTML good practice checker

This tool will provide indications of validation errors and violations of certain good practice rules in your HTML document. It slightly modifies your document in order to instruct the W3C HTML Validator to enforce more strict rules than the HTML standard usually requires. These strict rules include requiring quotes around attribute values, lower-case tag and attribute names, and removal of all remaining presentational elements and attributes, among numerous other rules. Some widely-accepted good practice rules, such as semantic markup, are beyond the scope of this tool.
